In order to access your server in game, you must first enable some options. You can do this by launching your multiplayer MW3 client and navigating to the Options -> Dedicated Server menu. Once you are there, enable the “Server Browser” and “Remote Console” options. This will allow you to browse the server listing and once connected, access the server’s RCON facility.
Tip: Dont forget to set classes up for use in dedicated servers prior to joining. To do this goto find private game and create them in there – they will then be selectable.
